Year 1

Today is Mike's first day of school. When he was getting ready this morning I asked him if I could take his picture before he left. He said, "First day of school?"
I said, "Yeah, I'll put it on the blog. Your mom will love it." ...then he agreed. (Thanks Kris)
If nothing else, I think he'll at least be the best looking first year :) In case you're wondering, shirt and tie would not be Mike's first choice in apparel to wear all day long. The school is actually quite strict (Not any more strict than BYU...just strict by anyone else's standards) So, they have a dress code and are required to wear a shirt and tie to get into the school. Even if he just wanted to go buy books, he'd have to dress up. They also have little security badges without which you can't get in...even if the guard knows who you are. I think it's a little funny, but good I guess that the school is secure. They're also not allowed to have their hair below their shirt collar, and facial hair has to be neat. Basically, he signed up for a modified honor code.
Today marks the first in a very long road. I'm sure it won't be the most pleasant at times, but we're oh so proud and love you to bits. Good luck Michael :)
