Mason's First Wedding

Last weekend, we visited Idaho for Brittney's wedding. Mason was a bit of a handful because he decided he doesn't like to be away from home, or being around people he doesn't recognize. He's also getting some new teeth, so that didn't help matters much. We still had a good time though, and it was nice to see all of our family.
Mason enjoyed sharing a banana with grandma
He was also a good helper/eater while we were finishing the quilt we made for Britt.

Once we were about ready to leave, he had decided that maybe he was comfortable with everyone and started being a little more pleasant. At the luncheon, he munched some mashed potatoes, played with Uncle Jake, and gave lots of kisses to Aunt Nicole (I don't have any pics of the kisses he gave out, but it was sooo cute)

When we got back home, Mason got a new high chair. He's pretty much out grown the bumbo we've previously been using. He's gotten big enough and strong enough to get out of it by himself, as demonstrated by the acrobatics he's been practicing lately. So, we decided it was definitely time for an upgrade. He seems pretty excited about the change.

Mike and I like it a lot better too, because now we don't have to worry about him launching himself off the table. It's also made him slightly more independent since he'll lay there and hold his bottle by himself when he's done eating.
