Mike graduated from BYU this week. (He actually just walked in the ceremonies, and will officially be done mid-June) It was a busy/exciting few days. He didn't walk in the big commencement ceremony Thursday since they don't read your name or anything, you just get to wear your robe and get a better seat to see an apostle speak. So, we left an hour and a half early, found parking relatively quickly, and this was the view from our seats...
We were in the very top row in the Marriott center. On the bright side, we were close to the middle and being on the top row we could stand and text without bothering anyone.
His convocation ceremony was on Friday, also in the Marriott center. Our seats were a little better this time, since there were only about a fourth of the people there. Mike graduated in Microbiology, which is in the College of Life Sciences. Recently, they made the Exercise Science major part of this college. Any of you familiar with BYU know that Exercise Science is one of the biggest majors, so the presentation of the diplomas took quite some time. Mike and his fellow microbiologists only comprised 19 of the entire college.
Both of our families came to support Mike on his big day(s). We're really blessed that we have such an awesome support from both sides.
On Saturday, we went to Boise for Brittney's reception. Mason isn't typically thrilled about riding in his car seat for any extended period of time. On the drive there, I was able to appease him for a short time with some jerky.
The reception was really nice, and Brittney looked beautiful. We also got to see Mike's grandparents which was really nice since we probably won't see them again before we move.
So, it's nice to be at home after a busy, busy weekend. But, it was great to spend the time with all of our AWESOME family :)

Looks like a fun and busy weekend! Wish we could have been there! Love you all! And congrats Mike!
