Grandpa Fry's Visit

Mike's dad came to visit this weekend for his white coat ceremony. We tried to find a few things around Erie to do/show him. Friday while Mike was at school, we visited the Tom Ridge Environmental Center and Presque Isle. Friday night, we went to an Erie Bayhawks basketball game. They are the NBA D-league here. Mason LOVED it. Well...at least at first. He was really good for the first half, then it was getting past his bedtime and he wasn't loving it so much anymore.
Here he is cheering the team on. He kept leaning way forward like he was really into the game. He really liked the music, dancing girls, and popcorn.

The white coat ceremony was on Saturday morning. While we were waiting for it to start Mason found some of his pals from play group in the hall. They all decided to play in a  fountain that didn't have any water running in it. When the ceremony started, Mason was really good, and then fell asleep halfway through.

We got a pretty good snow storm today so Mason played while I shoveled. I pulled him a few laps around the parking lot on his sled, and then he took a turn pulling it.

Mason reading with Grandpa.
We've had so much fun having Grandpa here, and are sad to see him go home.
